This journal is now permanently closed. It has lingered on for a long time in barely-active mode, and it's past time to bring things to a close.
This journal was created in 2011 with the purpose of interacting with trusted friends with a character whose personal canon was an attempt to thread a very specific needle - one that has, I believe, closed in the years since then as historical understanding and consciousness - to say nothing of culture as a whole - has evolved.
When I returned to RP in 2020 the character came with me, since I never threw anything out - and I made the mistake of attempting to see about him being suitable to a game. This was a deep error that I am truly sorry for - what had worked among friends who knew details and intent in 2011 no longer applied to the DWRP community in 2020, and my pursuit of a sunk-cost folly proved harmful. Again, I sincerely apologize.
The dead journal will stay for now, as I believe deletion would be misconstrued as trying to erase past events - but I am more than willing to do so if preferred.
